The Story Behind Panther Ops
Built on the Cinco Standard.
Panther Ops is named after my late father, Albert Simbulan—known to many as Asiong Cinco, and in his profession, as the Black Panther. More than the name itself, it reflects the values he lived by.
One story has always stayed with me. When my dad chose to walk away from a job that compromised his values, the entire department he led—including the very person who had once tried to get him fired—chose to walk away with him. He never demanded loyalty. He earned it through the way he treated people.
Those weren't just the qualities that made him a respected leader. They became the foundation of the kind of company I wanted to build.
That's why Panther Ops isn't just named in his honor. It's our way of carrying his standard forward. The Cinco Standard is the commitment behind every partnership we build.

People often ask how Panther Ops began.
The truth is, it started long before there was ever a business.
Long before there was a website, a logo, or even the idea of becoming an entrepreneur.
I grew up in a family where love was never measured by what we had, but by how we showed up for one another. My parents worked incredibly hard to give us the best life they could, and as the eldest in a Filipino family, caring for others naturally became part of who I am.
There was a season when my parents had to work away from home while my siblings and I stayed with our grandparents. I was only a child myself, but every morning started before sunrise—making breakfast, getting everyone ready for school, managing our weekly budget, and making sure everything at home kept moving.
Looking back, I never thought of it as sacrifice.
I simply wanted to make sure everyone was okay.
Years later, that same mindset followed me into every stage of my career. Whether I was supporting customers, leading teams, coordinating events, managing operations, or helping businesses behind the scenes, I found myself drawn to the work that keeps everything—and everyone—moving forward.
One of my favorite memories with my dad came during one of the hardest seasons of my life. As I struggled to balance work, university, leadership responsibilities, and heartbreak, he found me crying.
He didn't rush to solve the problem.
He simply hugged me and said,
"You're smart. You're going to do great things. Just take one step at a time."
I didn't realize it then, but those experiences were preparing me for the work I do today.
Today, they continue to shape the way I lead, the way we serve our clients, and the kind of company Panther Ops is becoming.
